50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden dark orange to light brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Mild ashtray like hops flavorued with a roasted malt flavoured base. Bitter and lingering roasted finish.

Full pint served at The Criterion pub in St Andrews. Dark-ruby brown body. Thin, creamy head. Dark fruity smell. Leafy hops, toffee malts and dark fruits in the flavour. Straight bitter endnotes [03.11.2008]

From cask at Charlies. Pours, well ruby red and clear. Light tan head. Vague malty towards nutty aroma. Semi sweet malty flavour wit a light acidity and increasing bitterness towards the finish. Light fruity acidity and bitterness into the finish.

(Draught at Charlie´s Bar, Køpenhamn) Clear dark brown color, small white head. Sweet malty scent. Apple and some hops taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Apple aftertaste.

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Clear dark red brown color with a small creamy good lacing mostly lasting beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, berry fruit sweet / acidic. Flavor is moderate sweet some very light notes of acidic, with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft.

Amber - no head. Nutty malty, bready, sweet aroma and taste - very nice. Body is a little thin. bitter end. But overall nice!

Cask conditioned at the Aidensfield Arms, Goathland. Copper coloured. Fruity (blackcurrants) and relatively malty aroma and flavour. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice.

Pours ruby into an English pint. Tan skims the surface. Caramel malts front to back. Creamy with a lasting bitter finish.

Pour is a red with a white head. Aroma is malts with a small amount of hops. Flavor is watery paper bag with no real redeming qualities. Maybe and old bottle but i find no reason to drink this other than for a rating.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, reddish amber golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly acidic aroma with a whiff of nuts. Very light and somewhat watery body with accents of nuts. Highly drinkable but not overly characterful. 240706
