Just like the High Knoll, but on steroids. Additional hoppiness, and a very well hidden 8.5% ABV. Clocks in at 75 IBU.

Sort of a murky look to it, medium head, mid-amber colour. A spicy-piney hop nose. Medium bitterness, light pine, grapefruit. A bit yeasty. It’s fine, but doesn’t distinguish itself in any meaningful way.

Poured from the tap @ Tinhouse. Clear dull yellow gold with small white head. Sweaty citrus hops, feint hint of resin, touch of booziness. Decent.

Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Dank and weedy nose. Dank and weedy taste. My jam.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose reveals floral hops, piney hops, alcohol, and a bit of fruitiness. Flavour is rather jumbled and confused, with some resinous hops, piney notes, a bit of stone fruits, alcohol, and a bit of earthy chalkiness. There's little harmony here -- the disparate elements don't blend well. The hops aren't that well dialed in and there's a noticeable alcoholic kick on the finish. Not great.

Very nice foam on cloudy yellow body. Bright piney hops on the nose, soft pineapple. Flavour is mellow juice, slight pine. Good oiliness but still pulls back to be refreshing. Enjoyable.

Tag 05/07/20, so there's a risk this beer is 4.5 months old; it's murky, filthy and dull, it already looks oxidized, light brown. The aroma is not bad, still some stone fruit, some malt. The first impression of the flavour is negative, oxidized, cardboard; it redeems itself a bit, later, with some piney resins combined with the malt sweetness. Always been in the fridge, it shouldn't decline so fast.

The hops are more pungent, but also quite juicy, accent on tropical and piney notes. The body is robust, it doesn't have chalky traits, but there is some pithy bitterness in the finish.

Murky blond colour. Some aroma of fruit, wilted flowers, rotten fruit, citrus peel. Robust, with mild sweetness, hiding quite well the alcohol; the malt basse is good, the hop has some qualities (mainly piney and bitter citrus), but overall it comes through a little harsh.
Strange choice 75IBU for an East Coast IPA, the look is NEIPA, the hopping is more West Coast.
Aggressive and inelegant, but I like it.

16oz from the brewery (thx, Alex!) @ 🏡. Appearance: hazy straw with a huge white head. Aroma: tropical fruits, some boozy notes. Taste: juicy, quite high piney bitterness, semi-dry. Overall: interesting.
