Traditional Pilsner & Vienna malt + flaked corn, Magnum hops for bittering, and a light dose of Tettnanger hops for flavor. Soft cereal-grain sweetness up front, balanced by notes of fresh-cut-grass and herbal spice. Spritzy carbonation & a crisp finish. Utterly crushable. Nothing can stop EL TREN.

16 oz can from Halftime, 6/16/20. Mostly clear golden color, slightly green hue to it. Thin white head, minimal lacing. Herbal hops, pale malts, grass, dough, mild spice. Finishes with that adjunct corn lager finish that the mass produced versions tend to have, but it's not overpowering. Don't get me wrong I don't mind corn in beer if some correctly, and it's done (mostly) correctly here, but it's still a minor flaw. Overall, a good, crushable beer for a temperate Tuesday evening on the patio.

16 oz. Aroma is grainy, corny. Pours nearly clear pale golden with a long lasting one finger white head. Taste has a nice significant herbal hop bitterness, so nothing like a Mexican lager, but that just means it's delicious. Has a mild malt sweetness alongside. Great stuff, but it's more like a hoppy pilsner with a light corn influence.
