Named after Pompeii which was famous for not only the volcano that destroyed it, but the amazing mosaics on the walls of the ruins. This IPA is created with the same attention to detail as the beautiful mosaics that graced the city of Pompeii. It features mango and pineapple hop flavors with a medium-body feel to tantalize the senses.

(Can, thanks to Håkan) Hazy amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange peel, mango, tropical fruit, apricots, flowers (hibiscus) and caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, mandarin, mango, papaya, tropical fruit, caramel, apricots and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh, hoppy and harmonious, with a rich hop presence, but not excessively bitter. Great IPA.

Can. Big Mosaic nose with mango, grapefruit, dank weed, papaya. Crisp malt. Very hazy bright gold with a thick, low head. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavors all the way with wheat biscuits and a sharp, pithy finish. Crisp bitterness. Great one.

Pretty hazy and juicy for a west coaster, but quite piney and bitter for a hazy. Lots of Mosaic, tropical fruit, dankness, some pine. Soft, with a bitter finish. Tasty and easy, sometimes that's all you need.

This 16 oz can was bought at Mr. T’s locally a couple of months ago. Should have paid attention, seriously out of date. So I am opening and sampling tonight in my favorite globe glass. The arrival is an opaque lemon yellow with a here-and-gone top of off-white bubbles. The nose is citrus and a touch of pine. And the drink is pleasant without being life changing. Tangerine, grapefruit, pine needles and crackers. A bit dry at the end along with a small bitterness. Good, not great.
