bottle - Pours clear amber with a small tan head. It has a mild spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet with caramel, minimal hops, and plenty of cinnamon spice. It has a bubbly palate and actually works pretty well.

12 oz. bottle. Dark brown with ruby notes and a medium, beige head. Notes of toffee, butterscotch, cinnamon, and cardamon. The flavor is very sweet, savory, and faintly sour. The body is medium, silky, and very smooth. Overall, this is a good, sweet beer, with a nice, spicy warmth.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is cinnamon, grain, caramel. Pours reddish brown with a medium beige head that collapses into a blanket of foam after a couple minutes. Taste is sweet and sour with a pronounced cinnamon flavor. Carbonation is average and the mouthfeel is creamy. As far as spiced beers go, it’s not as good as the Widmer Spiced IPA I rated last night, but this isn’t bad. A nice beer to say goodbye to winter.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a dark amber, almost maroon with a half finger of quickly dissipating off-white head. Aroma is lots of cinnamon, a little wheat and something else. I want to say apple but that can’t be right. The aroma is just dead on for the apple-cinnamon instant oatmeal I ate as a kid. Taste is light sweet and heavily cinnamon. The first sip is dead on for the oatmeal smell but the more I drink, it reminds me more of a cinnabon. Full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, I’m really digging this beer. I’ve never been much of a BM fan, but this one is pretty darn awesome. I wish this was their winter seasonal instead of the crap winter abbey they have now.

This beer is a dark ruby-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet spices and caramel malt. Light body with flavors of bready malt, cinnamon, ginger and caramel. The finish is sweet and malty with a mildly sweet spice aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
