Cask @ Jack in The box, Manchester. Deep dark amber with a slightly off-white creamy head. It has a very bland mild berry-fruitiness and is a low bitterness ale.

Cask at the hanging bat... Deep red... Thin white lacing.. Soft earthy fruit nose.. Soft sweet woody.. Light spice malts

Cask at the hanging bat. Pours clear amber, nose is caramel, toffee, woody, little autumn spice, taste is sweet toffee, creamy, grassy, little musty.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - amber to red. Attractive lacy head. Nose - orange and red fruit. Taste - biscuit and strawberry. Jammy dodgers. Palate - crunchy and light to medium bodied. De crunchy finish. Overall - good example of the style.
