This Double IPA was created for Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2019, and is intended as a celebration of a style and flavour profile we've become synonymous with. Following in the footsteps first laid by our much-loved V series, it's juicy, soft and smooth yet still full-flavoured, bold and bright. To provide full impact, we led with the punchy and distinctive New Zealand hop varietal Nelson Sauvin.
Aroma & Flavour: Powerful notes of fresh pine take the lead, followed by gooseberry, tangerine and lime juice.
Body: Full-bodied, juicy and smooth, soft carbonation
Aftertaste: Resinous hop notes, lingering pine and grapefruit zest

Can. CW online, I think. Super hazy, orange gold. Thin, dense, shiny, lasting and lacing, bright white head. Nose has pulped citrus. Pineapple. Hint of pine. Some soapy lime. Taste is sweet and creamy, with a light, citrus smoothie bitterness. Medium body. Drinks easy at the ABV. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Nice one.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky amber body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of flower petals and lemongrass. Flavour of lemon jelly, melon and vine tomatoes. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Incredible. Cloudwater do this type of beer so well.

Keg at 73 Enid Street. A clouded orange gold coloured pour with a fading greenish white head. Aroma is big dank hop, petrol., plastic, sticky mango, hockey puck. Flavour is composed of semi sweet z rounded, wheat and oats, mango, orange, grape, plastic,. Palate is rounded, crisp finish, hop oils, slick. Moderate carbonation. Good. Can at home., bit better big punchy dank hop, green mango, plastic, firm bitterness.

Tap. Murky yellow color with white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, grapes, a touch onions. Taste is full blown white grapes and passionfruit, milk-soaked biscuits, a touch mealy. Juicy mouthfeel, a bit mealy, medium carbonation. Excellent!

Tap @MBCC2019, Yellow Session. Hazy yellow, white head. Juicy citrus aroma. Mild spice, anise. Dry, juicy mouthfeel. Flavour jas dry stone fruit and citrus, mango, grapefruit.

Can at home, 10/05/19. Murky pineapple juice orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, pine needle, grass, papaya, light hop spice, dextrose, raw mango. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine resin, weed, papaya, grass, mango. Medium bodied with a little oomph, semi drying close peppered with resinous danko hop bitterness. Solid DIPA ... reminiscent of the older series of NW and Co.

Can from 73 Enid St. Pours murky pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is big on the hop dank, bit of onion and plenty of grapefruit with a bit of melon. Taste is a nice big juicy and dank hit. Grapefruit, pineapple and melon, plenty if piney dank hop with a dry and bittet finish. Nice and smooth. Lovely.
