An exemplary Irish Red Ale, this holds many of the style's key mark traits. Expect a ruby coloured ale with a slightly fruity nose and notes of mild caramel and toasted malts in the body. At 4% ABV this is a very drinkable, very approachable red ale.

Cask at The Gordon Highlander. It pours muddy red with a small off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sticky, caramel, red fruits, boiled sweets, cola cubes and earth. The taste is dry, damp earthy character, bitter - sweet, brown bread, jammy red fruits, red berries, caramel, leafy vibes and tannin with a drying finish. Average body and limited carbonation. Feels a bit syrupy in the mouth. A bit muddled and lacking a bit in condition. Ho hum.

Delt med Rune. Wetherspoonsfestival -24. Mørk amber. Filmskum med litt farge. Så vidt litt malt i aromaen. Smaken søt frukt & karamell. Kjeksaktig avslutning.

Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Amber-brown with a creamy head. Hoppy with a slightly darker malt profile and very tasty in this too through caramels.

Reddish brown colour with lasting thin head. Nice caramel malt taste. Light but just flavoursome enough to be interesting. Session beer.

Keg pint, as Lough Gill Anderson's Irish Ale, in The Railway Bar, Sligo. Deep reddish brown colour, large and creamy head, slightly off-white. Aroma and flavour of malts and butterscotch. Too much butterscotch (diacetyl), but drinkable.
