Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Typical bit tangy Calavera Stout with tart dark fruits, berries, dark malt, some caramel and vanilla. Medium body, not particularly Imperial. Tartish, berries, dark malt.

Aus der Dose (bbe 28.08.2022) im 2022-06 getrunken. Dieses Stout hat ein deutliches Karamell-Aroma aber sonst nicht mehr. Es ist zwar gut trinkbar, hat aber sonst nichts besonderes.

Tired, a bit thirsty Smell- medium strong, vanilla, malt. Foam- thin to medium, weak sourness, vanilla, malt, dates. Tiny very dark brown color. Appearance- nice electro-blue can. Very dark brown, basically black color. From - snifter Taste - Malty, roast, vanilla. Alcohol is hidden ok, Generally ok.Feels thick.

440ml. can. @home, 06/03/2021 [#3.811 Global - #703 Spain - #2 La Calavera] Pours dark brown to black colour with a minimal tan head. poor retention. Aroma: unami, vanilla and toffee. Taste: Some toffee, dried frutis and light vanilla. Unbalanced.

Can from Mitra Zuiderpoort Wijchen. Color: Blck, thin very light brown head. Aroma: Sweet, roasted malt, toffee, vanilla. Taste: Medium sweet, roasted malt, vanilla, notes of toffee and fruity notes of dried dates. Some umami. Moderate bitterness. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Just over medium body but also pretty thin for this style. Below average carbonation. I'm a La Calavera fan, no Pastry Stout fan but this one is not overly sweet and the flavors are very well balanced. Nice.
