Our first beer, and still going strong. Just don’t call it a red ale! One for the malt lovers. Sessionable but with great malt-driven flavour from Irish and Belgian malts. Notes of raisin, a touch of black malt, Chinook for bittering and a Cascade for aroma.

--Keg at Cobblestone, Dublin. -- Clear copper colour, small head. Peaty caramel aroma. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean mouthfeel, excessive carbonation. Peaty caramel and pine. Mid bitter finish.

Draught, pint. @«Bar Rua», Dublin (Ireland). 15/08/2019. Copper colour with a medium white head. Good retention. Aroma is malty, soft fruity and metallic. Taste is malty and soft fruity. Bitter finish. Next one please!

Draught, 4.2% at L. Mulligan Grocer. Weak fruity aroma. Almost clear copper colour. Stable white head. The flavour is fruity and citric. Above average red/copper ale.

500mL bottle poured into a nonic glass. I’d actually put this as a Irish red ale as opposed to a bitter, red/copper color and white/off white rocky head. Biscuit, toast, some rye-like aroma and flavour to it. Nice balance between the malt and hops, lovely bitter finish, definitely has a more-ish quality, better example of the style.

Draught at The Norseman. Cloudy orange with a medium head. Aroma is biscuit malt. Flavour is sweet malt, biscuit and bread. Alright.

Caramel amber brown, clear, off white head, some lacing
Aroma of caramel malts, soft citrus hops, slightly grassy, touch of cereal
Taste of caramel malts, some nutty toasted malts, soft zest hop, soft citrus.
Palate - medium carb and body, a touch creamy. Finish - lingering soft bitter
Overall - Sort of a cross between an Irish Red / brown bitter. An easy going sessionable ale.
