Can from Beer52. Clear gold with small white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, some orange flavoured confectionary. Taste starts with mellow grapefruit and orange, some pith in the middle and then finish is a modest pine needle and bitterness. Needed more bite. Light to medium bodied, slick. Decent fruity session beer, very drinkable if somewhat underwhelming.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Mid dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grapefrui on crackery slender malt. Piney bitter finish. Refreshing.

Can (as Rye River Lil' Twist Grapefruit IPA, from Die Bierothek). Yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, some grapefruit and lime with some pine and mild biscuity tones. Flavour is citrus, grapefruit, mild toffee and some slight citrus with mild bitterness too.

330ml can from Tesco Supermarket somewhere in the ROI as Lil' Twist Grapefruit IPA - misty gold body, small white head. Sweetish grapefruits in the nose, slightly bitter tropical taste with a citrus tang in the finish.

Another one that you can smell for 1m away: in a good way, of course. Lightly hazy pale straw colour. Medium head retention. Citrus on the nose, grapefruit and lemon. Nice hit of grapefruit on the cheeks and roof of mouth on tasting. Fruity but restrained. Nicely rounded though. Needs a bit more bitterness to be an IPA but a good fruity, drinkable ale.

Part of their variety 4-pack of hoppy brews. Slightly unfiltered golden colour with a nice creamy-frothy white head, good retention and lacing all-around. Beautiful freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juices in the nose. The taste is milder, but leaves some tart and zest dryness on the tongue. The taste blends well the grapefruit flavours with the grain malt base. Some decent bitterness building. Quite a nice grapefruit, Session IPA.
