Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark malt, spicy yeast, touch of chocolate, some candy sugar and dried fruits. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bitterness. Above medium body. Good Quad, the malts are dark rather than caramel-y, with even some notes of chocolate.

33cl can at tasting. Poured dark brown in color, thin head. Plummy and raisiny malty, quite sweet obviously but balanced. Abv hidden. Light spiciness.

Can, 10.2%. Good deep malty aroma. Deep dark chestnut colour, seems hazy. Ok stable tan head. The flavour is a little sweet, but not as much as some quadrupels. Deep dark malts, brown and white sugars. Citric, cidery finish, but mellow maltiness. Warming alcohol. Late molasses notes.

Can. Pours nearly clear dark ruby / brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of fruit and Belgian yeast, with notes of malt and caramel and mild touches of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, dried fruit, and yeast, with roasty and hoppy touches. Warming alcohol presence. Bitter and estery aftertaste with malty and acicid hints. Decent.

Bottle at home, darker brown beer, small head. Aroma is malt, sweet, raisins, fruit, caramel, dark sugar. Taste is the same, quite nice.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Diep donkerbruin bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is rokerig en licht moutig. Smaak is zacht, rokerig en licht bitter. Nasmaak is bitter.
