Hazy deep amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Fairly light palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. The malts are also relatively light but bring a nice light creamy sweetness well integrated with caramel and a touch of toffee. Some barrel induced vanilla adds to the symphony. Rich red wine comes through loud and clear and has quite the Port Wine character. Darker berries add richness. Comes together with more nice oaky vanilla and a touch of damp wood. Oh yeah. A top notch red wine barrel aged barleywine. This brewery are catching my attention more and more.

75 cl. bottle shared with Rick and Joey @ Rick. Murky brown with a thin off-white head. Caramel aroma with some red wine notes and oak. Sweet taste with a long low-bitter finish. Low carbonation. Very nice vinous barleywine.
