Es war einmal ein verzweifelter Hüttenwirt in den österreichischen Alpen. An einem wunderschönen Sommertag, mit zahlreichen Radfahrern am Weg zu seiner Hütte, drohte ihm das Bier auszugehen. Pfiffig wie er war, hatte er eine erfrischende Idee. Schnell holte der Wirt einige Liter Zitronenlimonade aus dem Keller und mischte diese mit dem Bier. Den Gästen erzählte er, dass das eine eigens für sie kreierte „Radler-Maß“ sei.

Sein Glück: Alle waren von dem erfrischenden Geschmack begeistert. Uns, der GRIESKIRCHNER Brauerei, gefiel seine Idee und so begannen wir in den 80er Jahren – als erste Brauerei Österreichs – Radler in Flaschen abzufüllen. Bis heute bleiben wir dem erfrischenden Geschmack unseres Zitronen Radlers treu und verwenden nur bestes Bier und fruchtige Limonade für diesen ausgezeichneten Sommerdrink.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy pale yellow, rich coarse head. Lemonady nose. Mid sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Fresh lemonade, some bread. Low bitterness.

Bottle (from Alko web). Yellow colour with a small longlasting foamy white head. Aroma is lemon, some citrus, mild metallic tones too. Flavour is lemon, dish soap and mild earthy tones.

Eingetrübte gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger Geruch nach Limetten, schwach malzig. Geschmacklich prägnant fruchtig nach Citrus und Limetten, leicht malzig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2016 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Grieskirchner Zitronen Radler Naturtrüb ].Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy lemon, lime, zesty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, zesty, citrus - lemon, refreshning. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20160806] 4-2-4-2-8

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 1. Pours clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Zesty lemon up in this one, with sugary aspect, too. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, sweet, yet still fairly refreshing. nice radler.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 1 06/08/2016. Many thanks! A hazed wheat yellow coloured pour with a a fading white head. Aroma is zesty lime, grapefruit, wheat, citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangerine orange juice, lime citrus.. I really like this. Lilt . Yes it’s a radler, but i like it.

Bottle @ Chriso pre-GBBF Shindig 2016. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity spicy lemon aroma. Fruity spicy lemon flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy lemon finish.

Bottle at Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2016. Cloudy pale lemon colour lasting white head. lemonade aroma. Quite a decent radler. Sweet but fine.

Pre shinding 2016. Trübe hell gelbe Farbe, mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch mild zitronig, süß, kein Bier.
