Hertl Imp*stoff dunkel, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Dunkleres Kupfergold, leicht trüb. - In der Nase satt toastiges Malz, Karamel, herbe Frucht (Trockenaprikose, Orange) und feine hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Antrunk breit getreidig-toastmalzig mit fuseligem (überreifem) Obst von plumper Süße und leicht scharfer grasiger Hopfung, die nicht gut mit der Frucht harmoniert. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang derbe Bittere. - Kein Dunkles, sondern ein rotes Zwickelbier, in seinen Aromen unrund fruchtig und von wenig attraktiver Hopfung. Überzeugt mich nicht. Mostly lacing. Aroma: caramel malts and bread. Taste: rich malty and bready leading to a mild bitter finish. Next one please!

Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of caramel and mixed, fresh grains. Taste is bittersweet to bitter, finishing grainy, but pleasantly. Medium bodied, easy-going, dry and quite smooth. Nice.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours amber copper with a small creamy White head. Grains, bread and caramel. Medium to thin body. Slight paperbag. Short bitter finish

Again a 0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Cloudy orange brown in the glass, small white head. Malty smell with some straw and nuts. Taste starts with increasing toasted grain, caramel, nuts, present hop. Interesting stuff. Nice!

500ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally toasty, mellow malty aroma, a touch of straw and milk chocolate. Taste is grainy, strawy and minimally toasty, mellow malty, moderately bitter hoppy, a cautious touch of milk chocolate, caramel, nutty overtones. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well crafted, but disharmonious, too grainy, mismatching hop bitterness - not my cup of tea.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Grainy sweetish beginning. Easy to drink, mild with a smooth dry back. Slightly grainy, caramelly sweetish hints, round and mild.
