(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate truffles, sweet coffee, caramel, toffee, whiskey and vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate truffles, sweet espresso, fudge, caramel, vanilla, toffee, whisky, liquorice and a gentle cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. Smooth and mellow, rich and tasty. Great beer!

Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted cocoa, toffee, lactose, sota sauce, whiskey nose. Medium-bodied. Cocoa, some vanilla, sweetish with alcohol/rye whiskey notes. Suprisingly light palate. Brewed at Lervig.

Bottled (from Alko web, with Mats). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, vanilla, some alcohol and quite sweet plummy tones. Flavour is fudge, chocolate, vanilla, some alcohol and mild with some toffee and quite sweet. Oily palate.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar Aarhus. Pours pitch black, no head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, rye, light wood, spirits. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, rye, chocolate, wood, mild whisky. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish. 251022

Almost black colour, practically no head at all; aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, some vanilla, dried black cherry and dark berries, toffee and slight whisky notes; taste of syrupy sweetness with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some spicy alcohol; amazing Imperial stout

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Very dark brown, miniscule head. Aroma of vanilla, whisky and spruce. Very sweet with full body and viscous, syrupy mouthfeel. Maple syrup, cocoa, vanilla and caramel sauce, some cedar. Sticky finish.
