Our latest (remote) collaboration with Green Cheek celebrates everything we love about California IPA. Clean lager malts provide a crisp base for an onslaught of incredible hops, packed full of ripe tropical fruit notes. Resinous bitterness balances the inherent sweetness and keeps our TIPA remarkably drinkable.

Appearance is amber, a half-finger white head. Aroma is hops, fruit salad, malty notes, hints of cherry and dark fruits, toffee malt. Taste is boozy malt, fruity hop bitterness, candied sugary fruit, peachy notes, orange peel, fruitcake, hoppy bitter finish, very lengthy. Booze quite noticeable in this.

Dipa provning Wilhemshill 3 olika .

Can from the brewery online shop. Sloshing about like a low-fill but. Good 1/2 cm below the ring pull filled, tut-tut. Anyways it's a hazy orange pour with a short-lived thin white head. Good hop character on the aroma, lots of pine and ripe tangerine. Quite aggressive bitterness on the taste, some golden syrup, boozy warmness. I liked it, but I'd have liked it more if it was full. Glad I got to it fresh, although having said that a touch of nutty sherry oxidation action might have improved it! Beer, eh? It's all subjective, except when you're wrong.

Can at home, can't recall from where, 29/06/21. Moderately hazed orange with a decent just off white covering. Nose is bitter tropical fruit esters, pine resin, weed, dank chimes, hop spice. Taste comprises orange pith, pine resin, booze tunes, hop spice, melon, trace of stoned fruits, grapefruit. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness and definite spiked of alcohol. Solid high boost hops ... drinks well for the 11% ABV, plenty fail in this genre with sweet sweet sweet and no bitterness.

Can at home picked up from Siren online. A mostly clear deep orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. aroma is big sticky resinous hop, pine needles, toffee, toasted pine tiops, warming alcohol, sticky orange. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, biscuity malts, toffee, rounded orange, pine needles, light plastic, warming alcohol, but hides it really well. Palate is semi sweet, chewy hop, firm clean piney bitterness, moderate carbonation. I dig it. Big and bold.

Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, spices, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

440ml can. Hazy golden amber, slightly off-white head. Aroma of pine, resin, alcohol. Taste is pretty sweet and malty, marmalade, hops are very resinous, piney, though not very bitter, it is very boozy though and with a lingering alcohol finish. Full bodied, very thick mouthfeel for a westie. A bit hot but actually rather nice, would've liked more hops and punchy west coast bitterness.
