We took an old home brew recipe from several years back, originally 7%, and gave it the Emperor’s treatment. Aged in plantation rum barrels for 6 months, we then added whole Madagascar Bourbon vanilla pods and 6kg of Flames Raisins per barrel. This beer is dessert in a glass.

Blackish brown, near flat, tinsiest edge of off-white head. Smell is plenty rummy, raisins, some light roast. Body is surprisingly light, soft, some subtle carb. Taste is lotsa sweet, tobacco'ish rum, raisins, plenty vanilla. Quite boozy, but damn tasty.

440ml can. Completely pitch black with a very thin tan head. Aroma of rum, vanilla, chocolate. Taste has loads of rum barrel, sweet creamy vanilla, chocolate, raisins, more rum, warming booze. Full bodied and smooth. Outstanding, even better than Hyperdrive Rum BA.
