Panda at home, thanks to Graham/Grumbo, 17/01/23. Black with a thin khaki crown that doesn't stay for a chat. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, hint of peanut butter, spice, mellow roast. Taste comprises chocolate melt, spice, booze tunes, hint of Marathon bar, nutty, toffee fudge, mellow roast. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Not bad but not getting much peanut butter from it ... file under okay sipper.

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a rich, thick and lacing beige head. Sweet roast aroma with plenty of vanilla. Thick, sweet body. Roast and vanilla with a warming alcohol finish. The peanuts don't really come through. Borderline cloying. 051122

Pours black, small white head. Scent is roasty, ashy, light smokyness almost. Taste is full, intense, fairly sweet, chocolate. mild alcohol. Not really PB-ish. Decent, but not meeting expectations.
