Pretty sure I had this in 2018.... But not showing up on RB. This time in July 2024. Cask at The Grill, Aberdeen. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh and vibrant, tropical fruits, mango, peach melba, nectarine, twist of citrus, um bungo, fruit pie, biscuit and white bread. The taste is dry, touch piney upfront, green, snap of bitterness which lingers, fulsome malt base, oaty white bread, biscuit, pithy, zesty, orangey citrus, kumquat, mango, peach and a touch of peppery spice with a drying finale. Light to medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Great condition. Like the decent malt base pared with tropical fruity hops. Satisfying and moreish. Cromarty are Scottish kings of cask. No doubt.
