very dark brown color. Amazing depth of oak, bourbon, whiskey, iodine, tart, dark fruit vanilla, caramel and marshmallows, brown sugars. The palate is amazingly light for 15.5% alcohol is so well hidden, not sweet or cloying at all. Amazing depth. The barrel character is super refined, low medium carbonation. I am noticing lots of stewed apricots and more coffee notes on the palate. This is the most perfect ba beer I’ve had in a long long time. Amazing.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Black body under a dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate, wood, mild bourbon, hint of vanilla and warming alcohol. Taste is medium sweet dark malt, dark chocolate, wood, mild Bourbon and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Surprisingly nice for a beer with this high level alcohol, mange to become more smooth and warming than boozy.
