Aged in ex De Molen barley wine barrels. An all English malt driven quad paying homage to the classic Belgian style.

Brewed with Sweden’s very own popinjay buck PAR SMEDSBO SLOTT who emerged from the depths of Sweden’s most northern forests...

Full bodied with complex dark fruit esters, a light caramel sweetness and a rich ripe stone fruit plum barrel piquancy.

Sample thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy brown with a thin white head. Aromas of sherry and nuts. Light toffee and wood. Taste is more of the same. Boozy finish.

75cl bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - deep brown with thin tan lacing. Nose - raisins, brown sugar and malt loaf. Taste - rum 'n' raisin and malt loaf again. Luscious treacle and light spice. Almost Jamaica cake. Palate - full bodied, silky texture. Sweet, yet elegant linger. Overall - really lovely beer.

750ml bottle. Sweetish, oaky and malty with some candi sugar, toffee, syrup and yeastiness. A bit sweet and stingy.

Medium body, sweet. Nose has raisins and malty bread. Malty raisins, dates, a bit dry, surprisingly light. Nice. Opens up when warmer, more fruity, more raisin, more full. Upgrade.
