Cask at Malt and Hops, Leith. Mid to dark brown with a ruby tint. Some chocolate mixes with a gentle herbal aroma. The taste is pretty sweet, I like sweet beers but the balance is a bit off. Finish is surprisingly medicinal. This has quite a few issues that keep it from rising above ’average’. But it’s drinkable.
