Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading at 4.5% ABV. A reddish chestnut pour with a close cream head; sweet malty aroma; sweet earthy malt taste; then a light herbal bitterness, some berries and burnt toast in the finish.

Cask. Brown color with off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, light fruitiness, a touch red apples. Taste is dark chocolate, light milk chocolate, light fruitiness, very nice balance. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. A little watery, but nice beer.
