Barleywine like. Boozy and strong dark fruit notes. Subdued bitterness, which is good, overall decent in style. Goblet bottle shop Zagreb

Bottle. Huge thanks Hrabren! Misty dark red body, brownish almost, traces of a tan head. Bourbon and berry notes, bourbon berry, almost juicy, but it's very much visible how the interplay between the barrel and the beer created something quite interesting. Now, one might say - but that's generally how bourbon barrel stuff tastes like, Marko, what are you on about - and yes, sure, that's right, but it's damn lively and fresh really. But, sure, there are some dried figs, honey, grape jam, light dusty oxidation too. Okay, let's move on to the taste...Hmm... Perfumey raisiny-woody taste. smooth, slick sweet maltiness, pine branches more than needles, what with the huge bitterness. Simpler than expected, but still this is excellent stuff.

0.33 l bottle shared with Marko. Unclear dark amber, small off-white head. Oily. Lots of oak, a touch of bourbon, malts, molasses, dried fruit. Fruit jam. Spices such as nutmeg. Slick. Nicely balanced. Strong. Bourbon dominates in the flavour. Soft carbonation. Sweetness, molasses. Finishes dry. Fruity character.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Brown coloured, small off-white head, some malt wood and alcohol in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, wood and bourbon touch, notes of caramel and alcohol with light nutty finish. Bit flat for the ABV but ok brew.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky deep amber / brown pour, no head. Minimal lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, malty, liquory, wood notes. Dried fruits in the background. Medium body, soft carbonation. Soft and chewy texture, smooth mouthfeel. Goes down quite nicely. Moderately sweet with subtle bitter notes in the background. Liquory, strong alcohol presence. Dry, and warming. Bourbon, wood, dried fruits. Caramel malt, toasted. Molasses, brown sugar, candy. Nutty, bready. Rich, nice complexity, well balanced. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering alcohol. Tasty.
