Tap @Malt Wom in Brno-CZ. Coffee bean color with a persistent brownish foam. Nose: a mild feel of whiskey and nothing else sadly. Mouthfeel: a bit sugary, thin somehow (how?), the roast is hidden, coffee is perceived far away. Ok

Tap at Beer Geek. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Med-high sweetness, also med-high bitterness, light astringency. The malt character is relatively simple, with hard to distinguish from the special ingredients. There is med-high syrupy caramelly flavour, which seems to be associated with the maple syrup though. Lots of coffee, but feels like it is derived from the actual coffee, some goes for the astringency present. Medium bourbon flavour, slightly boozy. Overall the beer is good, just feels rather empty and simple considering all the special techniques used. Good but not great.

Bottle 0.75l from our archive, more than half and year aged. Almost clear, red to black colored. AROMA- strong coffee, whiskey, roasted, sour cherry, earthy, maple syrup. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, slightly sour, lightly bitter, the same as aroma. Fuller to full bodied. Very good.

Bottled 750ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, light maple and coffee in the nose. Strong maple syrup taste with notes of coffee and light chocolate. Touch of barrel in the finish.

0.75 l bottle shared at Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Dark brown to black. Nutty, chocolate, mouldy, cocoa, spice. Slightly sour. Tart, roasty, dried fruit, sweet. Vinous. Smooth.

Bottled. Extremely dark brown, almost black body, tan head. Coffee, light beans, touch of whiskey barrels, cherry notes. Soft taste, tart, cherry fruity tartness, coffee, fresh, beans, vague roast, woody barrel. Liking this a lot!
