Imperial Stout brewed with mountains of chocolate, cacao nibs, tonic beans, and vanilla for a big birthday celebration.
Taste: Sweet and sticky vanilla-marzipan frosting coats the tongue with a smooth and creamy feel of a chocolate milkshake immediately afterwards. Going back for a second slice - or sip - reveals jammy mixed red fruits and a sweet biscuity malt base, whilst a third sip transports you back to your 5th birthday party in the summer, running across the grass whilst shoving handfuls of your parent’s lovingly baked cake down you before it could melt in the sun.
Appearance: Thick, viscous black with a dark brown mocha-like head.
Nose: Immediately rich, moist chocolate cake mixes with hints of black forest gateau, with sweet red fruits and rich vanilla with sugary malts following.
Malts: Pilsner, Carafa special T-2, Oat malt, Low colour chocolate malt, Golden naked oats, Cara pale, Cookie malt, Chocolate wheat, dark sugar
Hops: Magnum, Simcoe, Yellow Sub, Brewing chocolate, Cacao nibs, Vanilla pods (Madagascar), Tonka beans

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is tonka, roasted malt, cocoa nibs, vanilla, chocolate cake, molasses, chocolate syrup. Flavour is quite sweet with a moderate bitterness. Full body, sticky texture. Heavy on the tonka, chocolate dessert/cake flavours. Rich and decadent.

Pour is a thick black motor oil with almost no head at all. Aroma is bitter bakers chocolate and molasses. Flavor is a super sweet hershey syrup chocolate with minor vanilla and a weird spice which I guess is the tonka beans. Alcohol is hipped well but it's behind a ton of sweetness.

Bottle: As black as expected, no head to speak of, solid sweet aroma of dried fruits, roasted malt, port-wine and presumably vanilla and chocolate, faint traces of leather; solid sweet flavour, full bodied and soft; lingering port-vinous and caramelly finish with a slight peppery and warming alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Bottle. Black ber with a thin brown head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma. Chocolate and vanilla flavor with rich malt and fudginess. Medium-pus bodied. Chocolate and vanilla linger with fudge and rich malt. Cake-like tastes.

33cl bottle pours a cola brown, no head, no legs. Nose has... cola, brown sugar, plenty of cinnamon, some chocolate soda, carob. Flavor is malt and molasses and licorice, lots of spice like cinnamon or warming cardamom or black pepper, carob and caramel. Finishes sweet with some spice. A touch cloying though.

Bottle at home, shared for my Birthday hehe, black beer, small to no head. Aroma is chocolate, cocoa, tonka, vanilla. Taste is the same, bitter, chocolate, dark chocolate, roast, vanilla, sweet, syrop, molasses, alcohol. Very nice.

Bottle picked up from Beyond Beer, webshop, Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 4th November 2021 listening to Gideon Coe on 6 Music. Pours black with a tan head. Wow this is indulgent, silky smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Chocolate, Tonka (particularly) vanilla in abundance. Really rich like drinking your favourite chocolate dessert. Great, Btw Loz is super jealous.
