Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Gold pour with a white head. Lots of vanilla and fresh cream in the nose. Acres of vanilla in the taste. Sour hit comes through in the finish. Very nice.

19 March 2019. At Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy ochre with a very thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, apricot, yellow apple, banana, white bread, hay, yoghurt, sourdough. Taste is medium fruity sour, notes of unripe yellow apple & apricot, sprinkled with lemon & yoghurt, sweetish tones in the middle offering mango, banana & mandarin, touch of vanilla, a bit creamy in that sense, only a bitter edge of grass, & orange peel. Dryish, tart, bit floral hoppy finish, lingering unripe yellow fruit, brett, sourdough & vanilla. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Bit of a weird combination but it works well.

Tap. Hazy orange color with no head. Aroma is beautiful intense vanilla. Taste is lemony, sour, all the sour fruit stuff you would expect, with a thick vanilla flavour finishing off. Fizzy carbonation. Very weird beer, but respectable in the attempt. I think it kinda works even.

Keg at the Queens Head. The aroma is big sweet vanilla, marshmallow, icing sugar, bit of funk and bread. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, lemony, limey, sherbet, zingy, gooseberry, vanilla, bit of funk, barnaydr, and marshmallow with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting mix of stuff.
