50cl bottle at Kivi kõrts, Alatskivi. Pours mahogany coloured with a slightly tanned head. Malty and caramelly with mild toasty notes and hints of herbal hops. Medium sweet with medium to low flavour intensity and a lightly bitter finish.

Das Dunkle aus dem Kuchlbauerturm lässt sich wirklich gut trinken. Es ist nicht zu bitter, aner auch nicht klebrig-süß. Dazu eine feine Röstmalzigkeit, die wirklich fein ist. Durchaus empfehlenswert

Eingetrübte bräunlich rötliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit Karamell und etwas Kaffee. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Das Dunkel vom Kuchlbauer, vom Faß im Gasthof Sixt, Rohr i.NB. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase die zarte gebrannte Zuckernote, die für bairische Dunkelbiere charakteristisch ist, schöne Röstaromen, schon schwarzbierähnlich. - Antrunk weich und füllig dunkelmalzig mit röstiger Tiefe und milder aber aromatischer hopfenwürziger Herbe mit feiner Orangenschale. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang schöne Herbe. - Ausgezeichnetes, kernig malztiefes und solide gehopftes Dunkles mit Tiefgang, dabei rund. (23.4.2022.)
