Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, pretty oxidized, very roasted, intense, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very sweet start, quite some alcohol, sugary, chocolate, a little bitter, spicy, soy sauce. Aftertaste: nice roast, alcohol, bitter, chocolate, some coffee, lots of alcohol, bitter finish, good!

Can. Color: Black, very thin beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, Bourbon, vanilla, fudge, some roasted malt. Taste: Boozy, Bourbon, vanilla, over medium sweet, caramel and chocolate fudge, licorice notes, roasted malt in the background. Notes of charcoal and green apple. Overwhelming barrel. Too sweet and unbalanced for me.

Donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en krachtig met iets van chocolade, wat koffie, karamel en vanille. Toppie.

33cl can. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet strong dark roasted malt, chocolate, Bourbon. Taste of intense bourbon, vanilla, wood, sweet dark malt.

Kijk mij om half twee gewoon flitsen met die camera in de kroeg, nou dan weet je het wel. Donker en hard geroosterd, zoet, bitter, strak. Echt de laatste.

Het is all over the place, maar aangezien ik nog slechter had verwacht, valt het me best mee. En zitten er best smakelijke aspecten aan.

33 cl. can @ home, bought online @ the webshop. Pitch black with a thin very short lived beige head. Massive bourbon aroma with vanilla, oak, dark caramel and roasted malts. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Light alcohol burn but at nearly 15% ABV this is very minimal. Not entirely well balanced but if you like boozy bourbon imperial stouts this one does the trick.

Blik gedeelt met Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een gebrande en bourbon achtige geur. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, hout en bourbon.
