Cloudy bright yellow-golden, big white head. Complex mix of tart fruit, lacto/yougurt, grassy stemmy and cidery notes, some generic phenolic spice. Subtle sweetness is outbalanced by lacto/yougurty tartness, with a nice cider and coriander-like spicy notes. Probably some very subtle salty notes. Chewey, pleasantly astringent and full-bodied, yet really easy to drink. A really well constructed and fine tuned brew.

Bottle. Orange amber color. Lemon and seasalt in the aroma and flavor. Dry, fruity, lemony. Goosberries, peach. Nice thirst quencher with some depth.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is coriander, wheat, salt, dough, nice balance. Taste is yoghurt, wheat, salt, light peach, very interesting fruitiness, quite refreshing. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid classic Gose!

Bottle, 5.0% as Ale Mania Gose Mania. Citric aroma with some coriander. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is teaish and citric with a hint of yeast in the finish. Also a faint salty note. Good and refreshing, but not my favourite style.

Bottle reads Ale Mania Gose Mania - and at 5% abv. I believe it's still the same beer, although possibly not brewed by Siegburger Abteibrauerei. Pours dark hazy orange, bit of foam but not too much of that. Nose is wheat, some lactic flour and oily dish washing water. Light fruity tartness. Taste has light tartness, some coriander spice but overall quite malty body, layered with lightly bitter shades of salt. Quenching beer, brewed to the style and works great as a light food beer.

Pours hazy golden orange from the bottle. The porous, foamy head quickly fizzes away. Aroma is aloe vera, apple cider, floral. Taste sweet and tart up front, turning a touch salty going into the finish. Extremely carbonated on a medium body. Overall the carbonation seems to disrupt rather than enhance the flavors. Interesting and not unpleasant, but rather disjointed. Not on my buy again list.

0.33l bottle @ Una. This is a cloudy looking one, really lovely near glowing orange golden colored body and a medium sized white kinda egg-white foamy looking head. Smells quite nice. Tartish and lemonic. Brett sour white currants with quite a lot of punch! This smells quite nice actually. A little bit of kriek red-berriness also detected after a while. Nice. Tastes pretty good also. Much the same as the aroma, but it's even tarter and more bretty. Above average almost a little high on the carbonation and it's mild oily in the mouth. Red lingo berries, trollkrem, sour white currants and lots of lemonic bretty woody nuances. Sour apricots and a distinct little hint if wooden salt in the aftertaste. Nice one. 13.02.2015
