Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, honey and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. Sweet finish.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - golden and bright. Snow white, well proportioned head. Nose - lemon, honey and bready. Taste - lemon and bread again, just an edge of caramel. Palate - tangy and light to medium bodied. Tangy finish, but would like more bitterness. Overall - a decent example of the style though more bitterness preferable.

Bottle from Tesco, Brooklands. Low key aroma. Grains and glue. Copper gold. The head soon disappears entirely. Sweet-umami gluey almond. Underlying sourness, a tad citrus. Some bitterness into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Odd stuff.

Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is fine, elegant, typical english hops, malty, the impression is for the beer to be sweeter . Taste is Surprisingly sharp, bit bitter, mild maltyness ( slight signs of oxidation in this one, but not all to bad yet ) , earthy hops. Not as refined as some of the other english ale's i've been drinkin' latel, yet definately not bad either. Medium high carbonation cleans up the pallet pretty much, leaving little aftertaste. It makes the beer more easy to drink in volumes, I guess.

500ml bottle: BBE Sep 2015, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 23 April 2015. The first beer in my St Georgeโ€™s Day tasting event (shared with no one). Orange hue to the clear light amber/old gold body, the head disappeared very, very swiftly. Hops in the nose and taste, some malty sweetness in the background. Orange flavours come through in the taste to add to the sweetness, ends with a dry, crisp finish.

Bottle from Tesco, Winchester. Poured a clear medium amber with little life. The aroma is caramel citrus toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth chewy sweet malt light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pendle Beer Festival 2018. Golden with a small head. Has light fruits, light caramels, with the latter providing a palatable and gentle sweetness.
