07/24/19 Tall boy from Covenhoven. Pint glass. Cloudy orange lemon, active, heady body. Smells of lemon oil, sour mix & very soft florals. Taste is dominant with wildflower honey upfront & a tart lemon twang middle turning acidic & full sour on the finish. Frothy, medium bodied, strong carbonation. A significant amount of honey in this. Tasty.

Hazy blond with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of floral notes. Lots of citrus zest. Floral and bitter. Slightly citric but not particularly sour.

Almost perfectly clear golden coloured body with a faint pure white head that starts off quite high at around four to five centimetres that fades rather quickly, with small-ish bubbles, but not as fast as a soda. Aroma of grass, tart lemons, a dose of gueuze and complex yeast elements, all with a very pungent and incredibly soured candy (like warheads) citric acid note that makes this deep and almost more candy-focused than traditional beer. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong lactic and funky soured/tart kick with some light fruit elements showing through, but also a dash of dragonfruit and lychee notes and a very grassy and dry herbal touch with a kick of citrus with lemons (of course) to go along with some grapefruit bitterness. Aftertaste shows much more of a soured, tart and yeast-centric beer with some light herbs and spices like that of dried oregano and basil at the very end and a fragrant dry yuzu and lemon citrus note as well - fairly juxtaposed, but done in a complex and enjoyable manner, some-how. Overall, a fairly assertive, but ridiculously funky and complex beer with the dry, grassy and very tart notes front and centre with a strong sweetness, some fruit-based components and a dry, yeastie and complex body with more citric acid than I expected, but almost worked out quite well. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraksa on 10-October-2019 for US$4,99, sampled a few months later at home in Washington, on 02-February-2020.

06.09.2019, 1 pint can @ home:
Big fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy yellow-ish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish floral, weeds, hay, fruit stones, yeast, flowers, minerals, sour grass, bark, paper, light malts, soul, soda powder. Taste is dry sour-ish floral, weeds, citrus acid, soda powder, fruit stones, yeast, minerals, flowers, sorrel, fruit salt, bark, sour grass, paper. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.
