Metropolis of Gold sees some subtle recipe combinations to make a beer both familiar and different! We've used a similar malt base with the same lashings of vanilla and lactose as Illicium, but switched up the hop combination to make something a little softer and fruitier. Expect strawberry notes from the Azacca and El Dorado hops and final flavours of fruit salad sweets and candy floss

Lightly hazy yellow, little bit of white head. Smell is very sweet, lots of vanilla, scoop of lactose. Nice body, but not just molten popsicle this time, there is some booze in there. Taste is sweet: plenty vanilla, lactose, (straw)berry. Bitter end.

Cloudy orange, white head. Fruity vanilla and lactose aroma, some yeast. Sweet flavour, sweet fruit, lactose sweetness, light vanilla and mild alc warmth in the finish.

Viel Laktose. Moderat hopfiger Beginn, keine Herbe, dumpfer Hintergrund. Das Aroma bleibt gleich, die Intensität ebenfalls, moderat süß, wenig herb, kurzer Abgang. Muss nicht sein. 8/7/7/7/11/7

44cl can. A almost clear golden beer wih a white head. Aroma of lactose, citrus fruis, sweet fruits. Taste of sweet strong pale malt, vanilla, lactose, mango, sugar, moderate bitterness.
