This fruited Kveik Pale Ale was brewed with huge amounts of Pineapple and Passion fruit. With our house Kveik strain kicking out huge tropical fruit notes, this beer hits huge with Pineapple up front, and Passionfruit notes backing it up with a fruit forward tartness. We're all in need of a little sunshine in a glass these days, so enjoy this beer with good vibes only!

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. The passionfruit is very evident in the aroma (also, boob sweat); the malt flavour falls a bit flat, it's slightly salty, with some tropical fruit and passionfruit.
Ok.

Can. Cloudy dirty blonde sort of colour with a thin head. Lots of pineapple on the nose, with a bit of passionfruit in there as well. On the palate, both are present. Sweet pale malt base is nice and clean, supports well. There's definitely some bitterness in there - the hop aromatics are more or less covered up by the fruit but the bitterness is definitely there towards the finish. But that's it - it's enough to balance this out so it's not a fruit blonde, but a fruit pale. I can work with that.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with both fresh pineapple and passionfruit, with a soft biscuity malt base. Flavour is a little less vibrant, with the pineapple and passionfruit lending quite well to a juicy palate. Not much sweetness. Simple fruit beer but it's tasty.
