Allott is inspired by the love and labour put into allotments around the country and named after the supposed creator of pink lemonade. It is packed with the classic garden fruits, strawberry and rhubarb, which complement the beer fantastically. They add a light pink hue and an enticing combination of sweet and tart which plays delicately with the lemonade character. Full refreshment after a hard day's digging.

Can, big bubbly head, cloudy pale red colour, aroma of lemonade and grapefruit, flavor of lemonade some yoghurt, herbal tea and a mellow medium fruity sourness, a hint of grapefruit bitterness. Amazingly quaffable, should be a huge hit in Israel in the summer.

Can at the Exeter Arms, Derby, 11/02/22. Moderately hazed orange with a decent white cap. Nose is mellow citric sherbets, rhubarb, pink lemonade, straw. Taste comprises citric zest, pink lemonade sherbets.... carries this off well, lemon tinged straw, zesty stuff, balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge. Decent enough refresher.... bollocks to your tincture!

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Slightly golden pink and hazy with no head. Sharp aroma of lemon zest and grapefruit peel. Tart taste with lemonade sourness: refreshing and moreish. Light to medium carbonation with a light body. It's a good beer although there isn't so much to it once you get past the hard citrus.
