Allott is inspired by the love and labour put into allotments around the country and named after the supposed creator of pink lemonade. It is packed with the classic garden fruits, strawberry and rhubarb, which complement the beer fantastically. They add a light pink hue and an enticing combination of sweet and tart which plays delicately with the lemonade character. Full refreshment after a hard day's digging.

330ml can from Morrisons, online. Pours a murky orange-brown, moderate sized white head with plenty of fizz sound, leaves a decent top. Aroma of grapefruit, rhubarb, orange, some grain. Its ok. Taste is lemonade, strawberry, orange, background malts. Moderate acidic. Light tartness the finish. Nice mouthfeel, fairly smooth but with a frothy carbonation. Nothing exciting but its a pleasant sour.

Canned (Alko Web). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is peach, and pretty much only peach. Flavour is peach, apricot, lactose and some floral tones. Surprisingly bodied for being 4.8 %.

Can, courtesy of MiP. Pours mearly clear straw with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus and fruit, with estery and malty touches. Dry flavour of citrus, with malty and estery notes and mild touches of hops. Citric and estery aftertaste. Easy to drink and not bad, but rather tame and anonymous.

Can, 4.8%. Mild citric aroma, lactic acid, it seems. Cloudy pinkish orange colour. Unstable fizzy head. The flavour is citric and fruity. Grapefruit? A little funk and some lactic acid. Fizzy mouthfeel. A bit thin but ok for the ABV.

Can. A light haze on this apricot colour beer, small very pale apricot colour head. Smooth light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. A pleasant lemonade, mildly tart. Touch of berries in there, whisper of sherbet. Light dry finish. Yeah it's fine but just lack that lip smacking refreshment I was looking for.
