Allott is inspired by the love and labour put into allotments around the country and named after the supposed creator of pink lemonade. It is packed with the classic garden fruits, strawberry and rhubarb, which complement the beer fantastically. They add a light pink hue and an enticing combination of sweet and tart which plays delicately with the lemonade character. Full refreshment after a hard day's digging.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pink, brief head. Aroma of blood grapefruit juice. Tart with light body and clean mouthfeel. Grapefruit lemonade dominates completely, perhaps some butter. If you google dull, this is what comes up.

Pours murky pink and a dense light pinkish head with good retention. Aroma's: sour, fruity. Retronasal it's sourish, fruit syrup, light malty. Flavour is light moderate sour with a bit of sweet fruit. Light bodied, not too thin. Fairly short finish.

Can from Morrisons. It pours cloudy pink / blush with a sturdy foamy white head. The aroma is grain, cereal, musty, zingy citrus, splash of pink lemonade, strawberry leaf, wet hay and grass. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, puckering, zingy lemony citrus, sherbet, sour pink lemonade, refreshers, red fruits, strawberry, natural yoghurt and a nip of acidity. Finish is dry. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Bright and quenching. Aroma doesn't match up to the rather lovely taste. Nice summer action.
