One from the backlog, can shared at Csakajó. Pours oily jet black with a thin, beige head. Nose is intense, indulging sweetness, showing dark chocolate, booze, maple, pecan and hints of coconut. Taste is also rather sweet with pecan and boozy sweetness being in the highlight but there's a lot going on here: chocolate, lactose, cocoa powder, hints of coconut and vanilla and some molasses. All the flavours are pretty intensive and work very well together. Closes with a long lasting, sweet and warming finish, has a thick, oily body and soft, almost zero carbonation. Pretty damn tasty this one.

CD 12/04/2021. Black, fine cream brown head. Smell is sweeet, pecans, caramel. Nicely creamy body. Taste is full on, some light alcohol first but covered by loads of chocolate, caramel, maple syrup, pecans, light vanilla. Tad too carbed, but bloody good!

Really rich and pastry-like. But decently enough balanced that it is what it’s supposed to be. Sterk ams

Can at THT October. Black with brown head. Strong roasted malts, ash, maple syrup, vanilla, coconut, alcohol, asphalt. Really sweet and also really bitter. Almost full bodied. Allover the place, but the maple is nice.

Opaque colour, small beige head. Roasted, sweet, cinnamon, alcohol, tiramisu in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweet, vanilla, roasted malts, alcohol, cinnamon, coffee in the flavour. Complex, robust but too sweet. Warming.

Op tap bij The Scrapyard. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Zoet, geroosterd, koffie, praliné, licht hoppig, vanille, bitterzoete finish. Volle body. Vrij zoet maar goed gelaagd. Lekker.
