Dark coffee color, nice light brown head. Medium body, oily. Sweet, roasty, smooth, lots of bourbon, some coffee, followed by biscuits and some coconut flakes. Very nice.

22 June 2021. At Uiltje Taproom, Haarlem. Shared with the lovely Anke! Tap. Cloudy black, stable, frothy, beige head. Enticing aroma of tiramisu, custard, amaretto & amaretti cookies, burnt caramel, molten chocolate, sweet espresso, hazelnut paste, date, cinnamon, nutmeg. Taste has sweet fig & prune in a thick malty body of milk chocolate, dark fudge & hazelnut, adorned with spicy cookie accents and bittersweet coffee; very slighty meaty-umami in the back. Herbal hoppy finish, spicy, mostly cinnamon, dash of vanilla, lingering chocolate & espresso and boozy Kahlúa-like alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Greatly 'rounded' for a Pastry Stout, just perfect and smooth from tap.

Dark pour with a very tall tan head with good retention. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice, caramel, sugar. Smooth texture, sweet and subtly roasty. Decent.

Black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa powder and brown sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Too sweet and artificial in Flavour, Moersleutel can do so much better than this.
