Bottle @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentines Day tasting, Feb 26. Second to last beer of the night before a particularly raucous Prodigy session. I blame this beer. Pours pitch black. Full, unctious body, big chocolate presence, with complimentary vanilla shades, deep dark malt, no roast... very rich, very indulgent.

Bottle shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026. Opaque pitch black color, no head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is malts, chocolate, dark chocolate, vanilla, soft bourbon. Absolutely delicious. Rich, intense, lovely.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige dense head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: vanilla, lovely, lots of coconut, chocolate, a bit earthy, very nice, intense smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of chocolate notes up front, sugary, coconut, lots of alcohol, caramel, earthy, nice! Aftertaste: bitter, lots and lots of coconut, vanilla, a bit sweet and sugary, very pleasant, lovely beer!
