Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night...

Scatter Signal is an ode to progress, however hampered. To unseen development that is quiet and steady. To unshakable perseverance, even as the ground trembles.

Scatter Signal was forged from the liquid that made Bottle Logic what it is -- our World Beer Cup-clad Darkstar November, here now built and brawned to withstand war. Coffee for vigor, chocolate to fortify, marshmallows for resilience.

This 14.8% ABV Imperial Mocha-Marshmallow Stout is a blend of liquid aged from 12 to 24 months in a medley of our favorite bourbon barrels. It was conditioned on the 'Southern Weather' and 'Monarch' blends of coffee beans roasted by our brothers in arms at Onyx Coffee Lab for a complex foundation of chocolate brownie and burnt sugar undertones.

Cacao nibs bolster the chocolate front -- Ecuadorian nibs were chosen specifically for the nutty, hot-chocolate-like flavors they impart. Marshmallows were our finishing touch; added in abundance for their softly sweet aroma, for a bounce of viscosity, and amidst a very hard year, for the outright joy of it. In the absence of joy, there is nothing worth fighting for.

...and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.

500ml bottle. Soft, sweetish and heavy with loads of intense coffee notes, soft bourbon, toffee, oak, syrup and roastiness, some cocoa and vanilla. Quite balanced and super tasty. Nice one

Bottle. Pours inky black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is heavy mocha, espresso, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon. Flavor is sweet but fairly bitter. Beetus. Full body. Sorry Vin. I am with you on smoothies and slushies, but i like me a good pastry stout.

50 cl bottle @ home, batch #001. Release 2020. BBE 19.01.2028 Aroma is heavy and sweet with sugary tones and licorice. Flavour has vanilla ice cream, sweet sugary tones, molasses and mild licorice. Finishes with mild chili burn. Good, drinkability could be better though.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is roasty, coffee, umami, peanut. Taste is full, roasty, sweet, chocolate, marshmellows, creamy. Fullbodied. Low carbo. No peanuts actually used in the beer, but the taste does remind me of them. One of the better BL's i've had.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong cake batter, milk chocolate, vanilla. Slick body, brownie, fudge, roast, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
