Kicsi, örökké tartó barna hab, bórdó árnyalatú fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, kávés, illat, meggyel és vaníliával. Csokis, vaníliás, kakaós, aszaltgyümölcsös ízek, némi meggyes, kakaós beütéssel. Testes, édes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Isteni desszertsör.

Bottle, 330 ml from debierliefhebber. Shared with Max and kajser27. Looks nice, black with brown head. Chocolate, licorice, very sweet, sugar, some cherry fruity notes. Works well after I've got used to sweetness, way to sweet at first. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle from Andover Liquors. Solid black in color with a thin off white head that quickly recedes. Licorice roast chocolate and light smoke with a bit of sweet cherry. Light earthy hops and alcohol to counter. Its a tasty sipper.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 24.10.2021) im 2019-03 getrunken. Ach ja wieder so ein toller, fetter Bänger. Dieses Imperial Stout ist schon ein echtes Schwergewicht in seiner Kategorie. Hier in der Version treffen die typischen wunderbare Röstaromen von kräftiger Schokolade, mit etwas Süsse auf nun eine schöne leichte Kirschnote. Allerdings ohne eine Säure ins Bier zu bringen. Dieses Stout ist erinnert etwas an Aromen einer Schwarzwälderkirsch-Torte oder an Mon Chéri. Einfach Spitzenklasse dieses Stout.

330 ml bottle, ad hoc for a tasting at Cardinal, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 12.5%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, cherries and vanilla. Very sweet flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Smooth, but too sweet for me.
