330 ml bottle, as Ugly Duck Crumblé US Brown Ale, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.9%. Deep brown to mahogany colour, moderate to small off-white to beige head. Aroma of medium roast malts, burnt caramel, burnt breadcrumbs and hazelnut syrup. The flavour is better than expected, has the same elements as the aroma, also distinct bittering hops, not too sweet, all well balanced.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with large offwhite head. Aroma is malt, syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon cookies, iron and nuts. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, syrup, brown sugar, sultana raisins, nuts, cinnamon cookies and hints of milk chocolate.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hopy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter fnish. Oily palate.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toasted, rye, and some yeasty and farmyardy tones. Flavour is toasted, rye, some yeast and mild sweet notes.

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy brown with a small creamy tan head. aroma of malt, caramel, choclate, little dried fruit. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, chocolate. Medium body,, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 251122

Bottle @ Føtex. Pours amber Brown with a small White head. Cascade slash citrus, nuts and caramel. Medium bodied with a short bitter citrussy finish.

Aroma: Roasted malt with nuts and brown sugar. Flavour: Sweet roasted malt with nuts and light sour notes. Aftertaste is sweet malt with nuts and light fruits. Colour: Dark brown with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Grocery store in Faaborg.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of yeast and touches of cardboard. Bitter, hoppy and nutty flavour with notes of caramel malt and touches of yeast. Acidic and roasty aftertaste with nutty notes and estery touches. Acceptable.

Bottle, 5.9%. Papery aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is nutty and herbal with a distinct soy sauce finish. Medium high bitterness which gets a bit much with the soy and all.

33 cl bottle from a Føtex supermarket. Dark mahogany colour with a creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, nuts, toasted bread and earthy hoppy notes. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Slightly drying finish with toffee and brown cookies. Ok, straightforward Brown Ale.
