Murky orange/brownish. Aroma is nut honey, malt, nutpeel, apricot. Taste is a little apricot sweetness with herbal tart nutpeel. Very interesting. Not only pleasing but interesting.

Bottle. Rather clear amber color with tap head. Aroma is caramel, honey, canned peach, a bit oxidized. Taste is canned peach, caramel, bready. Thick body with a fizzy-ish carbonation. It has character, but doesn't work out in the best way.

Orange amber, clear, golden foam. Dusty grain, honey, caramel candy aroma, grassy hops. Medium mellow chewy body, some oxidation, honey malt, herbal Hops, dusty retronasal.

Blauer Löwe 1907 Zwickl. Golden with brown tinges, good head, grainy caramel. Flavor like a dunkles but a bit more hoppy character, bit of astringency on the finish but otherwise good.

Fläschla: Hazy, deep golden with an orangey sheen, medium-sized and quite stable loose white head, mild to moderate sweet-bitter nose of caramel, grains and gentle herbal hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, very soft, almost medium bodied; lingering sweet-bitter finish of caramel and herbal hops.
