Lublin To Dublin Turkish Coffee Stout is the fifth in the series of collaboration brews between O’Hara’s and Pinta. This year the brewers decided to delve deeper into the world of Stouts and bring you a Turkish Coffee Stout. Brewed using a combination of chocolate, crystal and oat malts, hopped with Polish varieties of Marynka and Lubelski, this stout is smooth, creamy and bursting with the flavour of Cremazzuro coffee beans.

On tap at Svijet Piva Zagreb. Black coloured, small to medium sized pale beige head, mild spicy and weak coffee nose. Roasted malt, coffee, lactose and some odd spices with mild licorice notes. Even a bit too sweet. Interesting but not great.

Tap at Svijet Piva. Almost black dark brown, off white head, tiny. Aroma... More like licorice or anise than coffee, random spice and sweetish maltiness. Light spicy creamy taste, more spicy than coffeish, strange. Fresh, atypical stout. Not sure I like it though, but it's truly interesting.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and coffee, with notes of herbs and touches yeast. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike flavour, with sweetish notes of lactose and malt and touches of chocolate. Hints of hops and yeast. Creamy mouthfeel. Roasty aftertaste with estery and malty hints. Not bad.

Bottle, 7.0%. Good spicy aroma, cardamom and rose hips. Black colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is spicy, like the aroma. Has a hint of coffee, but this is overshadowed by a mild salt liquorice note and some cardamom, and a sort of mild chili touch. Not too dry. I like it.

Ciemne geste piwo z ciemna piana spora i trwala, pachnie kakaem i czekolada mleczna. Ogolnie wyczuwa sie kawe czekolade, kakao i laktoze z chmielem.
