Lublin To Dublin Turkish Coffee Stout is the fifth in the series of collaboration brews between O’Hara’s and Pinta. This year the brewers decided to delve deeper into the world of Stouts and bring you a Turkish Coffee Stout. Brewed using a combination of chocolate, crystal and oat malts, hopped with Polish varieties of Marynka and Lubelski, this stout is smooth, creamy and bursting with the flavour of Cremazzuro coffee beans.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is aromatic coffee, chocolate, nutty. Taste is nutty, grains, chocolate. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Ok.

Tap at München Tap House. Black, creamy brown head. Burnt sugar caramel nose. Medium full creamy chocolate base, creme catalan, ovomaltine, fitting herbal and grassy hop balance. Nice dessert beer, could be smoother in the finish though.

At Svijet piva with Marko, cheers! Black! Small off-white head. Roasted malts, fruity aromas, coffee very low. Sweet (lactose?), spicy, coffee candy. No hops. A bit weird aromas for this style. Fake-ish liquorice. Creamy texture, soft carbonation, medium body, kinda aggressive coffee finish. Not as expected!

500ml bottle at home. Pours literally thick, like there is a good few centimeters of yeast at the bottom, loads of bits. Big complex aroma of coffee(duh), aniseed, cherry, licorice, wintergreen, antiseptic. Taste is overwhelmingly wintergreen, like a tube of deep heat was squirted into Turkish coffee, not very pleasant.

On tap at Svijet Piva, Zagreb. Black, medium creamy, beige head. Chocolate, coffee, some fruit, herbal, cinnamon. Sweet, bit too sweet even. Some bitterness in finish. Smooth texture. Medium bodied. Didn't like spicy herbal notes.

Ciemna barwa, piana koloru beżowego, utrzymuje się w miarę długo. W aromacie wyraźnie kawowe z nutami palonymi. W smaku już bardziej palone, jak ktoś wcześniej napisał "popielniczkowe". Nasycenie na niskim poziomie, goryczka również. Średniaczek.
