Dunkler, leicht röstig malziger Beginn. Trockener, wenig aromatischer Hintergrund, minimal metallern. Herb röstiger Mittelteil, steigende Intensität, dann sogar etwas Hopfen. Trocken malziger Abgang, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Harmonisch. 9/10/10/9/8/10

Bottle from Erzengel - thanks a lot! Tight white head stayed on a dark oak coloured well carbonated body. Malt & berry aroma. Medium bodied, tingly on the palate with a clean thinner back. Smoky tastes with malt, roast, over sweet fruit & berry.

33cl bottle courtesy of Erzengel, thanks! A almost clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, burned caramelized malt, coffee. Taste of dark burned caramelized malt, vegetables, coffee, earth.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark black, small head. Spicy roasty malty aroma. Some bacon. Starts intense malty, modest roasty-smokey, a bit soapy, some very interesting herbal notes. Reminds me a bit of cough syrup. Not too sweet. Finish well balanced, still soapy-malty in a good way. Very interesting one!

Bottle from Sommenschein. Best before June 19. Nice dry chocolate malt. Very soft and smooth. Caramel, milk chocolate, smooth with not much bitterness. Very drinkable and soft, chocolate, roasted malts, very smooth and nice bitter roasted in the end. Well done in this batch!

Brown. Aroma is ugly weird moldy meat, salty, some grapes maybe. Mostly meat-fat. Taste is really nothing with a little sweetness. Finish of juicy meaty umami salt. Also the Aroma from before. Ugly.

0.33 bottle. Dark brown, aroma like peat smoked meat / Laphroaig soapy aroma but gone off a bit. Flavor is not as bad as the first whiff would suggest, definitely peaty somehow, but a brewing failure? or something wrong with the mix of hops, smoke, and malt. Very weird.

Bottle. Dark brown, light hazy, low brown head. Terrible meaty iodine aroma. Huge smoked fish notes, roast, medium full mellow body, burned farm, peat, somehow unbalanced smoke, especially in the aroma.

Bottle. Clear brown color with beige head. Aroma is bacony, caramel, very weird. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not for me.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, creamy and stable off-white head, moderate dryish roasty nose with heavy traces of medical hops and band-aid or iodine solution; moderate dry bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied; lingering bitter toasty finish with increasing medical flavours towards the end. Not according to the style, presumably caused by wrong hops...
