Cloudy orange with a white head. Malty, sweet caramel, booze, earth, toffee. Full bodied. Finish has booze and malty sweetness. Big and friendly with a little edge.

50cl Fles van bierothek.nl. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, appel, marsepein, alcohol, typische zware lager, redelijk bitter. Medium body.

From Heinrich 3000, best before 11/24. Opening this bottle yesterday, coming from Aligro. Sweet and full German Doppellbock, a bit smocked, touch of toffee, fruity, yeastt, really smooth at the palate, warm, German bitterness, nice at night, cooking a good fried fish on the Spanish way.

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally bready and starchy, pale malty aroma, hints of white bread crust, a touch of honey. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally starchy, pale malty, mildly bitter, slightly fruity, hoppy counterpart, a touch of honey, some mandarine; well hidden alcohol. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, very fine, soft, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well hopped, nice mouthfeel, can't see the need for 8.8% abv - decent.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy pale amber, small head. Bready nose with treacle and hay. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy bread, honey and hay. Mildly warming mid bitter finish.

Bottle (from Alko web). Deep golden colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some nectary and mild bready tones with some slight alcohol sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol some bready tones with mild herbs and grass. Alcohol gives a nice fruity sweetness in the finish. Great drinkability for this pale Doppelbock!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a white head. Rather hoppy, fruity nose. Rich, malty and fruity body with a subtle sweetness. Rather hoppy finish. Almost a Double IPA! Lovely. 160324
