Bottle. Clear ruby color with white head. Aroma is chocolate, light roast, toffee. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok, but a bit too roasty for me.

bottle, thank you wastl! Clear chestnut colour, small off-white head. Intsneive mlty aroma. Medium-bodied, incredibly caramelly - I think I’ve never tasted a beer with so much caramel flavour before - delicious and robust, finished by a touch of aromatic hops. Smooth palate. Superb stuff!

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, beautiful amber with a lightly creamy, off-white head. Somewhat impure, malty nose. Light notes of caramel, but uneven and disharmonious albeit not exactly unpleasant. Vaguely sourish edge - no bitterness. I believe this was probably a bit off. 190206

A dark amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is primarily of diacethyl, but also with some notes of caramel and malt, while the flavor is sour diacethyl, combined with some notes of caramel.

Bottle (from the Landbierparadies Nürnberg): Deep amber coloured, small, fluffy brownish head, quickly diminishing to a small frothy layer; distinctive fruity and grainy nose with a tinge of yeast and hops; the taste is also fruit and malt with a background hop-presence; slightly bitter finish with a distinctive fruitiness and traces of malt, too. All in all a well made Fränkisches Bier...............
